I thought about posting this here for a little while and then finally decided to do it. I dont think this site should become a poster board for gigs, happenings and self promotion. Sure it deals in part with our little tribe The Nice Folk but Im posting it because I think this is a well written review and Im stoked as I hope the rest of the local Gong music community is, that the writer makes reference in this article to Wollongong having a music scene that rivals that of Geelong and then dropping such names as Mutated Noddies, Proton Energy Pills, Tumbleweed, Leadfinger and then thinking that we deserve to slot in there alongside those names as great acts to watch from Wollongong. Yeah...bit proud to be from the Gong after reading this one. Enjoy! P.S. Yeah mate something Ive realised over this past week of revisiting reliving and getting back amongst our local scene, I might have moved to Sydney but Ill always be from Wollongong.
