I thought about putting this in a private message to my friends as not to appear as a PSA. However, the more I thought about it, the less I care if people think I am lecturing. So here goes: I just went through 3 insanely crazy weeks where my life was in danger, had major surgery, and a rough recovery of which I wont bore you with details on facebook. You can PM me iv you want to REALLY be scared. I had a tumor that I had minimal warning of (hindsight is 20/20). My lifestyle is low risk. Im single, fit, healthy. I let years go by, going to urgent cares for occasionally sinus infections, instead of my regular gyn and primary care doctors. If I had regular check ups, this would have been caught before it came to this dire situation. So I am asking my friends to please. PLEASE. do not be me. Please have regular check ups. I am begging.
