I thought id share with you guys a poem i wrote for My dog in 2010. I hope you enjoy it as much as i did writing it. A poem for the best friend anyone could have I feel you lying next to me, Your warm breath on my side, Youre looking oh so peaceful, And in you i can confide, Your wide brown eyes are closing, As youre falling into sleep, I pull you right into my arms, And i know that i will keep, You safe in my embrace, Until you rouse and wake, Your gentle nose near mine, You are never fake, Youre caring and sweet, You make me feel alive, Youre always happy to see me, Whenever i arrive, You love to be with me, As much as i love to be with you, You sit with me and listen, And i know your heart is true, You will never betray me, Or hurt me with a lie, You will never double cross me, Or even make me cry, I always come home to you, And will till the very end, Because i love you so much, My little doggy friend.
