I thought it was funny that the word of the day, today, is happenstance. I dont particularly believe in happenstance but its defined as a chance happening or event, yet the word is a combination of happen and circumstance. As if something has happened because of circumstance, which really takes away chance and makes it more cause and effect. Ten years ago today, happenstance, the way I see the word, took my dad away. Its a bit of a long story, but for those of you that were with me when it happened, thank you, and youll remember all the crazy things that surrounded the event that make this word mean something to me today. But anyways, I wanted to share this song today because it was one of three that I listened to a lot after it happened. The other two being At The Wake by The Format and Luther Vandrosss Dance With My Father. Thanks for reading my monologue:)
