I thought it was weird that I was 3 pounds lighter when I woke up this morning vs when I went to bed last night. Weird how that happens! As I eat healthier and incorporate exercising, I dont want to be a slave to the scale because I eat better and exercise because its good for me and I feel much better. If I maintain my current weight (which I wont) and have this much energy and feel this much better---Ill keep doing what Im doing, regardless what the scale says. So I dont weigh often, nor do I have a magic weight number. The magic number does two things in my opinion: we get frustrated and quit when we are far away because we have been running to the scale looking for approval or when we get there to that magic number we got back to bad eating habits and let up on exercising. So, no scale for me---weighing once every few months. I dont want to loose a lot of weight as much as I want to have better conditioning, more energy and less stress, less anger....so many benefits! Im so thankful we went and rented bikes....it started a new change in my life. God is always doing new things and Im thankful!
