I thought somewhat about the ethical implications of putting this - TopicsExpress

I thought somewhat about the ethical implications of putting this up, but what the heck, its from Ars Technica anyway and you could go there yourself if you wanted to. Translated from Compressed Geek to Verbose Geek, this says that for every billion hashes per second that your array executes, you earn .04 bitcoin. This may involve more hardware-hacking than you want to do yourself, but this fine fellow has built an array that will execute 525 trillion hashes per second – you read that right – and will cheerfully lease you a piece of it. If you prefer to go old-skool and try this at home on a small scale, you can get your own Bitfury chip from Amazon, complete with USB connector and pretty red cooling fins. Im not sure what you cool it with, maybe liquid nitrogen… amazon/BPMC-Fury-2-2-2-7-Bitcoin-Miner/dp/B00GRJUE0Y/ref=sr_1_6 There are only three suggestions I can make. One, this is nuts. Two, if it isnt nuts yet, it will be before long. Three, store a bunch of nonperishable food and bottled water.
