I thought that it was an urban myth when I first heard of this, but it is true. While it is 185 from 1700 stores it is another thin edge of the wedge. I realise that subway has the right to offer a service that maximises profit, but even if there are 10 non-muslims that now cannot get their Bacon roll, a right has been trampled on in the name of appeasing religion. The UK government needs to step up to plate with this issue. What would be the outcry if we put the shoe on the other foot and a shopping centres or banks banned the Birka?
