I thought this video was genius, although a bit dark for my taste, cuz that dude seems miserable haha... it surely drives home a good point. Shows us what happens when we break the cardinal sin of socia media, which is comparing ourselves to others based off snapshots of others lives. Also, how we can seemingly manipulate any given real life scenario and transform its social value on good old facebook. Ultimately, Facebook is a narcissistic playground where the best, the funniest, the most charming aspects of our lives are publicized and the shitty stuff, the boring stuff, the beige that is most of our daily grind almost never gets posted. All those walls are edited at some level and that makes them, at best, a deformed mirror image of real life or, at worst, nothing more than a fictional movie of how we want people to see us. To add, I think the most beautiful and novel aspects of life are found in the flat cs of life, the things social media could never capture. All the subtleties and quirks that make us who we are. Although Ive always felt good old Facebook is beneficial to share information, and to see how people think on certain issues, but certainly not to get to know somebody. https://youtube/watch?v=QxVZYiJKl1Y
