I thought we were in a government shutdown. My wife got FULL PAY on Friday. Another indication that this whole shutdown is a manifestation of the dems to hold the Conservatives hostage and not the other way around. The closing of the monuments and parks is unwarranted. These are open air venues which cost more money to close. Memorials in DC...no need to close them other than to inflict pain on those who wish to enjoy them and then point the finger at Republicans. Joggers arrested in Valley Forge over the weekend! Are you kidding me? Sorry I missed the mini revolt at the WWII Memorial yesterday. Vets took the barracades over to the White House and threw them against the fence. Police in riot gear watching the whole time. The only reason they did not pounce is that some of these guys were 90 years old. Worst job in the world at this moment...being a Federal Law Enforcement Officer guarding these sites. How some of them must hate to be in this position that this petulant child of a so called leader has put them in.
