I thought when the guy inspected my work and left that I was done and clear. Turns that was just HIS part ! BUT the other Lady also came back yesterday after noon and tried to say that the back wall of my porch was also an exterior wall, which is NOT THE CASE AT ALL ( and THIS I KNOW without doubt ) If the porch has a door, is enclosed and has a step up to it, then the door is the ! Threshold ! to your home and anything beyond that is considered INSIDE. Even so, not wishing to do battle with the MIGHTY MIGHTY code enforcement board any further I stayed up and scrapped and painted until 2:35 this morning. Still needs a second coat but should be sufficient (nobody said a GOOD coat of paint lol ) at this stage to mollify them, and assuage their concerns. HOPEFULLY !:)
