I thought you all might enjoy seeing a couple of videos of clicker trained scent detection (YES! You most definitely can clicker train this - its a behavior chain and all the standard principles apply). I am amazed (but then, why should I be? :) ) at how quickly the dogs learn this with clicker training. 1. This video is of what I refer to as trash hides. Trash hides are items that are not regular odor carriers, but instead flotsam and jetsam of the environment or that blend in with the environment.
