I told someone that I would teach her to make QR codes, and someone else that Id share an idea for getting supplies for your classroom, so this is both. This is the QR code to my Wal-Mart teacher registry. You can sign up for free and make a list of supplies that you need. Once you have a registry list, they will provide a link to share. You can use any of the dozens of free QR code generators on the web to create a QR code link to your supply list. You can post the QR code outside your classroom, and include it on your correspondance. Then, any parent with a smartphone, (which is most of them these days), can access your wish list.
