I took Gretchen and George for their annual exam to Fox Lake Animal Hospital right off of Rand Road North of Rte 59. I was going to put out a guessing game for how much it costs but decided to list what I had done. They each had (two dogs) *Three year Rabi shots *Registered Tags for three years with Lake County, *Distemper Shot *Bordatela nasal spray (for kennel cough since I have so many different dogs here) *George had his ear hair plucked *Exam for both of them *Ear medicine for George to take home *Eye medicine for both of them to take home. Total bill $220.00 I have lived up this way for twenty five years now and have had animals the entire time. I have been to All Creatures, Lake Zurich Animal Hospital, Skycrest Animal Hospital, Lakes Animal Hospital, Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital and Van Nuys Animal Hospital. They are all great places, but double the costs. I have had surgeries at Fox Lake as well for 1/4 of the charges around here. I am just putting iit out there if anyone is looking to save some money for the exact same care. Every vet I have had over the past three years is great. It all adds up, and now they take appointments! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE THAT WORKS THERE!
