I took Harley for a ride this afternoon and it was just wonderful for the most part. Rode out thru the country on secondary roads. Down Corinth Rd to El Bethel to 211 to 150. It was a terrific ride, no houses much, no traffic, open meadows and tree covered areas of winding hills and roads at 45 MPH so you have time to see the surroundings and smell the air. I had forgotten how special that is. I was chilled out and just relaxed. Then as I came up to 211 and 150 I wasnt paying good attention so failed to notice the banked road so as I stopped the bike was turned slightly so the weight was not balanced for crap then add the road was low so my foot didnt get to it and I almost dropped the damn bike.....LOL. It laid over to the brake pedal pad and stopped but it took everything I had to get that SOB back fully upright and over on the kickstand.....LOL. I lucked up and another guy on a Harley rode up on his way home and stopped to give me a hand but I had it handled. Still great that he stopped to check, and he was a big dude too.....LOL. No harm, no foul but dammit man.....LOL. My friend Ricky is going to come over and let me ride his Fat Boy to see how I like it. I need to give this thing back to Carl in one piece and just buy me one.
