I took Mya to a gathering at a friends house. I had sold them the house a few years ago and theyve done a lot of fun updates. Everything is digital, electric and motorized. Including the blinds, lighting and music in every room. Even the shower had electric controls with music and speakers. heck, Im not even sure what all that digital stuff was on the panels in each room. They probably made your bed for you. Of all the cool things in the house Mya was most impressed with the laundry chute. She just couldnt believe there was such an invention. She took off her outer shirt and nervously threw it down the chute worried shed never see it again. Her eyes about bugged out when we went to the laundry room and retrieved it. I told her if she stays focused in school and works hard she can have a house with a laundry chute one day too. She started talking about being a dentist so she could afford a house with a chute. I kept quite that I just sold a $110k 1950s ranch with a laundry chute in it. I mean, if my child wants to be a doctor so she can have a laundry chute then so be it. Who am I to stand in the way of her dreams? ;)
