I took a stroll down memory lane today and would not want to do that to often because it mad me sad. As I slowly drove up Crane Creek its funny how the natural eye see one thing and your mind shows you a different picture. My mommy and daddy are gone yet I could see them sitting on the porch. Uncle Jarvis and aunt Oma my grandparents are gone and tree grown up around the house yet I looked for my grandmother to be standing at the kitchen window as she often did. The Dennie Campbell place there is nothing standing where we would play in the barns. Jean Sawyers(love her) is still there though Ruben has been gone so long they were our second parents. George and Cindy Campbell,Mendel and Helen Day and the list goes on Juanita Sester,Sarah and Burch Melton. I could write a book but it time to get back to reality
