I took my extended lunch hour and went to investigate, observe and just inquire about Ray. He is displaying very anxious behaviors while getting on the bus in the morning, I have heard from several sources that he is seemingly upset when leaving or coming from school. Of course I did not find anything no one is going to display anything while a parent is in the room. I did notice though that Ray is in a very structured environment and seems to be learning but his anxiety is just bothering me. I know the other staff members of the school are saying he is in good hands and Ray just needs time to adjust to the new expectations but I just am not settled in the inside............I dont know and Im not usually like this. I have left Ray many times with people I had to build a relationship with and learn so its not that, so what is it???????????? The answer is if I dont have peace then there is something wrong not sure what it is or who but when I feel like this I just need to DO SOMETHING! The question is what I already put in a request for a transfer to another school. I know that will cause Ray to resist or experience anxiety but I just have to feel PEACE. I KNOW YOU ALL UNDERSTAND THE STRUGGLE AND HOW DIFFICULT THIS REALLY IS.
