I took off my glasses just so I could not see the picture...do not even laugh. I wear glasses but you will never see me with them because I bring the laptop so close to my eyes to avoid wearing the bloody glasses. Ohlalala...now we talk...and the UN did not know this? Maybe they are the ones who need the glasses. Let us get one thing clear, wearing glasses is not a sign of intelligence even if you look like a nerd which I would never succumb to. People wear glasses from tender ages because they can then see. One of our daughters had perfect vision till P6 when she could not answer the questions properly and the teacher walked up to her and asked if she could see the black board. Her reply, I see it perfectly. Then he wrote something and went up to her and asked her to read it. The kid was blind. So we got glasses and the eye specialist said that kid had needed glasses for 2yrs prior. Come on, she is in a school where they were doing self paced learning so she was used to putting all the books so close and when they switched to lectures, all hell broke loose. She is perfectly fine with her glasses. I am very uncomfortable with mine.
