I took one for the team in July. Mpi has finally determined it was 100% the photo-radar operators fault. Grant Park shopping center: I was going a slow/reasonable speed, and had the right-of-way on a main thoroughfare in the parking lot. She came flying across my path from a side lane and I T-boned her. Thankfully I had a witness to the incident because the operator lied in her statement to Mpi - saying that I was turning left - in an attempt to avoid liability. Because it was determined to be the other drivers fault, I didnt have to pay my deductible ($500) but regardless she cost the taxpayers of Winnipeg $7000 in damage to my car, significantly reducing its resale value, and I was without a vehicle for 6 weeks while my car was in the shop.
