I took our car to the shop yesterday. GRRRRR It is going to cost over $1500 to have heat in the vehicle again. So, Andrea Thompson and Soda Pop are getting accustomed to my beat up Chevy truck. It doesnt look pretty, but the heat works. Anyone know how to tear a dash out and fix a heater box in a 2010 Dodge Journey? Yeah, me neither. Garage doors have to be manually raised and lowered now too. Something about cold weather makes them not function. Snow plow came by yesterday and broke our mail box off at the base. We made sure to drip our water yesterday and Andi called me to say the water froze up anyway. Noticed I have a leak to fix on the roof as drops of water hit me in the head as I was getting ready this morning in the bathroom. We were supposed to rig something up on Sodas scooter he uses to hurry his transfer from class to class in school, but just realized today that they hadnt sent it home during his break and I forgot about it. My snow plow isnt working so I have to tear it apart today and try to clean the filter and hope it works or we are back into the same spot as last year, dealing with snow drifts in our drive way, getting stuck, digging out with a shovel, and repeating when we drive another twenty feet. All of the water buckets froze and busted in the hen house. The water in the sink isnt draining properly probably based on the ground being so cold it froze at the entry into the septic. Two flat tires on the dump trailer so I have to fix those before I can haul wood to the garage as our stack is getting quickly lower. Never have been able to figure out why I cannot get the gas gauge on the Dodge to work, even though I replaced the gauge, wiring lines, and the sending unit. Cant train as much as I was before the new year because the schedules are all tossed upside down and theres no way to make practices at two different places at once. Soda threw an enormous fit today at the Orthotics place and it was pointless trying to talk him down from it. Apparently I am not getting enough oxygen at night and have to go have a sleep study done now. They also want me to have another MRI since its been a few years and apparently my spine is not acting right. If I want to stay with the Dr I have now, I also HAVE to attend physical therapy AGAIN starting next week. I have been out of class since May because we had to pay off the debt I owed before I could go back and finish this final semester. It is 4 degrees outside, have I mentioned that? Did I mention that it is going to cost over, OVER $1500 to have heat in Andis car again? MOTHER FU......... Breath deeply, stop, look around, be grateful that Soda is continuing to recover. Be grateful that I have them! We have a home, and I have cut enough wood that we do not have a gas bill. Gas prices are going up, but are still, relative to what they could be, low. Breath! DEEP! I am close to finishing my first leg of graduate school. I start back Monday. These are problems that everyone deals with when it is cold. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile. GRRRRR.
