I took the day off yesterday to attend a CFA cat show in Sacramento. I just love seeing beautiful, impeccably groomed kitties, and talking to folks about their grooming secrets (look at how white that Persian is!). They usually have some great vendors at these shows, so I was able to stock up on cat grooming products and supplies as well. If you are a cat lover and you get the opportunity to visit a cat show, do it! I consider visiting these shows to be part of my continuing education, plus I get some hands-on time with these beautiful creatures (with the owners permission, of course). Most of these cats are used to being shown, and are bred for good temperament, so its a surprisingly quiet and calm atmosphere.
