I took the opportunity of a rainy morning to go through the mail that came in while we were away. One of the letters was a scholarship award for Brandon. Not only is the scholarship generous, the organization that provided this opportunity went above and beyond what should have been required by calling and asking me for information that had been omitted from the application and allowing additional time to get information in Brandons absence to them. In writing them a heartfelt thank you, I felt the same words could be shared with each of you. When Tommy passed in 09, I wondered how I would be able to be able to raise my boys all by myself. Especially now, without having my parents, either pairs of my grandparents or Tommys parents to help, physically, emotionally or financially. Then I realized this morning, Im not alone. I am so grateful to so many who bless my life in so many ways. Whether youre near or far, even the presence of your prayers or the look of your smile have made my days easier. God has provided me the strength through each and everyone of you to raise the boys. And, to each of you, thank you! With much love, I am very grateful!
