I took time to seat down today and something funny crossed my mind today...an old saying my grandfather once told me of how pitty swalloed the bird..Lol..Uluse lwalile inkwale...the story is explained like this...Once there was a fire running through the bush destroying anything it would find in the bush...And up above the sky and in fear of fire was Bird,flyng for his life.As he looked down to see how fire was cruisng down the forest,he spoted snake crawling for dear life and help.Filled with pitty,Bird started to lower until close enough to the the ground and was able to talk to snakeCant crawl faster than that snake?Said Bird.Please Bird,help me!Am gonna die!said.Cant you try and find a hole that you can enter to shelter?Bird asked snake.I cant. Anything down here!There is too much smoke!Replied snake.With not much of options left,Bird grabbed snake by the claws and up they went in the sky.Wooooo!!!!thank you Bird,you are such a wonderful friend!Shouted snake,enjoying the freedom of the sky..After hours of long flying,Bird and snake came to a forest that was free from the fire that had caused panic...they went down to the ground and there,Bird put snake to the ground....I think now I can live you here...Said Bird...I dont know how to thank dear bird..you are such a life saver.Replied snake with tears glowing in his eyes....I must go now,I still need to find a nest I spend the night befor it gets darkSaid bird as he turned back to take off...and just befor he could take off,Sssssssssssssssp!Striked snake.... And before realising what was going on,Bird fell to the ground as snake look into birds eyes sayingcrawling from my belly must have left me very hungry bird..Snake said as he watched Bird for dead....The fire is still coming,and getting hotter by every dry grass it findswhere Birds last words to snake.......Happy Jubilee people...stay safe and take time to reflect as either snake or bird....to be continued....CountryBoy....Copyright2014mukandchipoma@gmail...mujenpower carz.
