I totally identify with this. My mom would always help me with my arts and crafts projects for Kindergarten. I remember I would freak out if anything we did for my class that was outside of the norm i.e.using pistachios (instead of the macaroni) to make a house, or making a very Indian looking teddy bear out of old, colorful, dupattas. I would be an anxious wreck heading to class but of course everyone would love it and Id end up standing out with the coolest project. Thanks momma for always teaching me to be myself and being proud of who I am and my beliefs!! Love you Hema Tarachandani soo much!!!
