I tried to look this one up but wasnt finding my answer with the key words I could come up with. I apologize if its redundant and will remove it if the correct thread can be provided. That said, Im finding it difficult to explain my modality in a new state (MA to CA). I trained in neuromuscular with a focus on sports but have added so much to my repertoire over the years that it no longer resembles a true neuromuscular session. I have Thai, deep tissue, cupping massage, hot and cold stones, essential oil training and so much more. In an area crawling with self-proclaimed deep tissue therapists or Shiatsu, potential clients have no idea what I do. I find when clients call, that I dont have a quick and abridged version of what one of my sessions entails. Very few want to listen to a ten minute spiel. Theres no name for it. Custom integrated session was my first choice, but has not been helpful. Anyone in the same boat?
