I tried to translate my Russian poem “Knots” into English. It is my first experience with this kind of exercise so I will appreciate any advice and improvement suggestion. Thank you in advance. For those who know Russian you can compare it to original Russian verse right here: litsovet.ru/index.php/material.read?material_id=440754 There is just clouds and soil, and very broad internal layer stuck between, repeated, where you and I are coiled into knot with earthly worms that just like us, admit it. You’ll say a fate and I will answer: faint Illusive hope to act like interjection from rugs to riches on a strange constraint and back to soiled rugs in quick projection. You’ll say a dash and I will answer: rush to live, to thrive, to flourish knowing what is to build a link with earthly worms that lush where clouds and soil so rapid and unnoticed. So here I breathe and you can breathe – at odds or with accordance to the rest existent; while tying soil and clouds with worthy knots still for a brief but very solid instant.
