I truly dont know where to start…Amazing, Great, Phenomenal - these words do not even begin to express how inspired I was today during the Strength Warrior Game Competition. We thought we knew but to be honest; we didn’t know how this event would turn out. First, I would like to thank Coach Mike Hassan, The Seal and Coach Tricia Welch, Black Ink, for putting together one of the best strength competitions this city has ever seen. Looking at our Warriors’ faces during the competition was just like something you see on TV. I had to ask myself a question Am I dreaming? If so, please, nobody wake me up because I am living in greatness. Watching Stacey “Super Foot” Franco killing her squats with only one good leg or Tre running like a kangaroo with one bad leg; they both still managed to finish the competition in high gear. Many other Warriors broke down during the competition but it never it came across their mind to quit. All these amazing people are made at the Warriors Fitness. As a leader, I always preach about greatness and today I tell you - the world witnessed it. When I got home, I sat down in my garage and just broke down. I want to thank God for continuing to bless us with his hands. I also want to thank the Warriors Staff and Trainers for their hard work. I honestly think that we have the best gym with the best members and the best staff/trainers in the world. What other gym can give away $100k for a fitness challenge? What other gym can organize a fitness challenge where everyone from all races, religions, age and shape can come together; not only to obtain better health but doing it while having fun with a loved one? Have you ever witnessed a daughter helping her mother when she cant find the strength to flip a tire? Have you ever witnessed a man who just got back from an injury, never use that for an excuse but as fuel to finish what he started? If you haven’t witnessed it yet I would suggest you come see what HEART WORK is. I love you Warriors and thank you for giving us the chance to help you achieve greatness.
