I truly enjoyed the first FBS (Division 1) College Football - TopicsExpress

I truly enjoyed the first FBS (Division 1) College Football playoffs yesterday. I still think that 6 to 8 teams should be in, but overall I like the idea of removing all doubt and allowing the championship to be won on the playing field. That said, I also enjoyed engaging in fun trash talk and analysis throughout the games yesterday. But folks, we all must remember that they were just that---games---nothing more, nothing less. Perusing my timeline today makes me know that some folks are taking all of this WAY too seriously. I have seen folks cussing out entire fan bases, haters and the like. No chill, as the kids say. Folks blocking and unfriending other folks about their opinions about a football game as if they are getting a cut of the 7.3 billion dollars ESPN doled out for the playoffs. I understand blocking folks about personal attacks on ones character, or taking stances on issues like police brutality, racism, the economy, foreign policy et al that are so contrary to ones world view to warrant a FB divorce. But over ball? Again, not that serious folks.... That said, Happy New Year again! And relax, folks....
