I try not to get overly political on my FB page but I am seeing several situations occurring here and abroad that directly affect the country I love. One is the Obama administration showing no leadership or common sense when it comes to protecting us from a possible Ebola outbreak. This same administration not acknowledging or engaging terrorism effectively when and where it happens whether its abroad or here in the U.S. and calling it anything but terrorism in the interest of preserving political points by pretending to have snuffed out terrorism in the U.S. Not securing our borders (and before you call me racist I mean Canada as well) thus leaving the door open to terrorists, illegal immigrants (Im not using the innocuous, forgiving term undocumented workers and Id also use that if we were being overrun by millions of blonde hair, blue-eyed white people too), disease and the drug and arms trades. Policies that dont help businesses create good jobs (yes Hillary Clinton it is corporations/businesses that create jobs) and instead steer much of the able-bodied populace towards living on government aid from the taxes taken out of hard-working Americans paychecks. An administration and Senate that cares more about overhauling health care then taking care of the more pressing issue of restoring our economy and thus prosperity for as many working Americans as possible. If these situations concern you and you want to do at least a little something, instead of sitting on your hands and doing nothing, then do something simple to help out.....VOTE! This Tuesday you can be an agent of change. Go to the website below to see if youre registered, and if not, register there. If youre in my state of Iowa we have Election Day Registration so you can register to vote and vote all at the same time! Practicing apathy or letting cynicism keep you on your couch on election day does no one any good no matter if you think youre sending a message doing so. You may think both parties are useless and want an alternative but sorry, Ralph Nader isnt running this year, so get out and vote for the party that you believe can get us out of the worst chaos weve seen here in decades. Remember, be an agent of change and VOTE! canivote.org/
