I try not to talk about politics, especially on Facebook. Cast your vote and do your part, but debating an issue loudly and rudely on the internet isnt helpful. But here is something I have to say: I dont care if youre a Democrat, a Republican, or none of the above. I said this about Bush, and Im saying it about Obama: he is the President. You are an American. It is your right and privilege to disagree with him, his policies, and his decisions. But I believe that good citizens can and should do so respectfully. Im not saying stay quiet about an issue that is important, Im saying be a good American and do something about it. Dont clap when the man mentions his term is nearly over. Even if you dont like the guy, he holds the Office of the President of the United States, and as an American I believe we should respect and honor that. The least we can do is be polite to one another in this crazy world.
