I turned the other cheek (A Psalm of Antoaneta) How evil can - TopicsExpress

I turned the other cheek (A Psalm of Antoaneta) How evil can one man be, as evil as his hearts desires, how good can one man be, as good as he allows the Lord to be. They came and lied to me, I told them not a word, they came and lied about me, my lips were sealed my King. How can I speak in the congregation of the wicked, when they only hear their own, how can I defend the Truth in front of them who hate You even though they know You not? So I stood quiet speaking not a single word, lest I give my pearls before swine and disobey Your holy Word. I walked away for them and shut the door behind me, Your Peace was there with me while I shook the dust off my feet. How easy is to turn the other cheek and hide my frozen tears only You are Witness of it Father. The door was shut behind my back, the door of brutal past and countless lies and false and ugly accusations. But were they lying to me, were they speaking false about me, were they hating me or You? The answer is easy. All men do they do it to You Father, either good or evil. I heard the door slamming in my back, I turned the other cheek and held my Peace, so I may walk in Peace and Truth of who You truly are. Love bound my heart as I walked away from them who wanted to keep me to the dust they came from. How evil can one man be, as evil as his hearts desires, how good can one man be, as good as he allows the Lord to be.
