I tweeted, this already, but seems appropriate to post in slightly longer form here on Facebook as well... The Steller iOS client that we released on Thursday the 13th supports Twitter authentication as the only authentication mechanism. Its always been our plan to expand beyond Twitter with Facebook up next. Im pretty psyched that its looking really good for Facebook Authentication coming together early next week. This means that you will be able to register with Steller using either your Twitter or Facebook credentials. As part of this next release, we are also implementing a first pass find my friends and selectively follow feature. Not a full search solution, but a decent step forward that we hope will help with the discovery problems that today are workable but a little clunky. Full search is coming, but to nail this we have a little extra backend/infra work in addition to the client and API plumbing. Stay tuned... Target is to submit to Apple early/mid next week. Weve had pretty good luck with quick turnaround, so if all goes well we should have a good release out mid/late next week. To all of you early adopters, thanks for your support.
