I understand all the police chiefs here in Canada have made a pact among themselves not to go after the cannabis users. I saw yesterday a policeman on the street giving directions to someone who was smoking a joint. Justin Trudeau, who is vying to be PM under the ILP said openly he uses cannabis for recreational purposes, and should his party win the next federal elections, one of the first things he will do is decriminalize. So has promised Mr. Mulcrain and even Mr. Harper. Canada is on the eve of decriminalizing.
