I understand completely and fully support creating awareness to the evils and cruelty that man does to animals both wild, and domestic. I rage with the next at the cruel nature, and the unfair way in which animals are treated. The fact that they cannot defend themselves against the cruelty. I applaud the men and women who champion their rights, and advocate constructive non-violent ways to reduce this or eliminate it. Sometimes I go as far as to wish ill to those responsible for killing, mutilating, and murdering the defenceless. Both human and animal. BUT, rights activists that believe that displaying incredibly graphic, shocking images without a warning of its explicit nature should think long and hard. It will devalue the point that is trying to be brought across because over time the more exposure to these images will divorce the viewer from the reality. Frustration with things not being achieved politically or by constructive lobbying are not an argument for this. I agree that the world should not be censored, and that too much gets hidden away or that people get away with murder (literally). I do not have an answer either for this. If I did, I would have done something and the world would have seen light shining from my rear end. I get it, I understand it, and I try to stop it. BUT, children who are too young to understand this, should NOT, NOT IN ANYWAY, be subject to this form of graphic image. It will not prepare them for the future, or make them aware of things they need to fight against. I know that there are other images and videos of gruesome horrors that get uploaded to FB, showing what humans to do humans as well. AND if you want to vent at me for saying this go ahead. Making a sarcastic comment will also see you detached from my FB page. Make my day. I WILL UNFRIEND YOU. DO NOT try it....To say I am mightily hacked off is an understatement.
