I understand that $4/gallon of propane sucks. Weve spent the last couple winters paying almost $4/gallon for fuel oil. But what, exactly, does the Brilliant Progressive in St. Paul hope to achieve by declaring a state of emergency and sending in the National Guard? Will door-to-door welfare checks decrease propane prices? Will he send APCs and M1s to the storage tanks and demand they release more propane to MN residents? In turn, then the rest of the country will watch corn-product prices (anything with corn syrup like bread, cereal, dont forget we feed cattle and pigs with corn too...) go through the roof, while us Minnesotans will pay more taxes to compensate the waste of manpower and resources spent during the peacetime state of emergency. Scott Walker at least made emergency heating assistance funds available to residents *who call and seek assistance*. Dayton sends the Guard to our house to check on us (burning diesel fuel along the way). HOW IS THIS HELPFUL!?!?!?!?! WHERE THE FRICK DID COMMON SENSE GO!?
