I understand that the post on the wanted man from Sweeny stirred up emotions. I merely shared what Freeport PD posted on their page, just like I have done in the past with other pages (like Matagorda County Sheriffs Offices post on the Valero robbery in Van Vleck). What disheartens me is the fact that one person could come on here and personally attack me. Bias?? You claim to be a weather information page. Very tacky and unprofessional. Wonder if it has to do with the fact that you live in West Columbia?? In Green Meadows.. MY RESPONSE: Local Weather - Matagorda County and Brazoria County This is a COMMUNITY page and as so, I do post other information such as community alerts, traffic alerts, and bulletins like this which was SHARED FROM FREEPORT PDs FACEBOOK. Why dont you jump on them for it while you are at it? Since you want to personally attack me, why dont you learn about me first?? I run this page for free. I am the SOLE person running this page, yup, just a REGULAR guy who has an interest in our local weather and community happenings. I have a day job just like everyone else. Not satisfied? Dislike the page. I have 3,980 other followers who appreciate the time and effort I put into this page. And yes...yes I do live in West Columbia -- In Green Meadows. My wife and I worked our way up, lived in crappy apartments/houses until we saved up enough to purchase our own home in OCTOBER of last year. Judgmental much? I have never had to deal with this kind of stuff on the page before and it isnt about to start. This is a community page... I cover more than just the weather. It is one thing to disagree but this went too far.
