I understand the desire to avoid panic, but I have to admit I dont understand all the official warnings that Ebola is basically impossible to catch. Its not. Its highly contagious through direct contact with any bodily fluid of an infected person, as is clearly demonstrated by its rampage in West Africa. If it gets here unintercepted, people WILL get infected, although fewer, with a better chance of survival. Why are we not making more effort to limit inbound travel from infected areas and screen passengers? And why are we not putting out sensible and factual warnings about what it might look like, and what NOT to do, so we are more likely to make the correct decisions when people who just traveled from Liberia show up in an emergency room?
