I understand the responsibility is on the fans to choose the starting lineups for the All-Star Game, and the decision of the reserves lies with the coaches. Nevertheless, I believe the Top-5 teams in the NBA (OKC, Indiana, SA, Portland, Miami) DESERVE AT LEAST TWO ALL-STARS PER TEAM. Top-5 teams hold an +.700 win percentage, and a combined 170-59 record Biggest snubs: Tim Duncan, Serge Ibaka, Lance Stephenson How these guys were not selected by the coaches is beyond me. TIM DUNCAN: 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, 21.52 PER, Played 43/46 Games, on 29.2 minutes at 37 y/o Spurs: 33-13 (3rd NBA, 2nd West, 1st Div.), 16-5 Road (1st NBA), +7.1 Average Point Differential (3rd NBA), 107.8 Offensive Efficiency (4th NBA) & 100 Defensive Efficiency (5th NBA) SERGE IBAKA: 15 points, 9 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 19.12 PER, Played 46/47 Games Thunder: 37-10 (1st NBA, 1st West, 1st Div.), 20-3 Home (2nd NBA), +7.7 Average Point Differential (2nd NBA), 107.6 Offensive Efficiency (5th NBA) & 99.1 Defensive Efficiency (3rd NBA), 9 Game Winning Streak LANCE STEPHENSON: 14 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds, 15.96 PER, Played 43/45 Games Pacers: 35-10 (2nd NBA, 1 East, 1st Div.), 21-2 Home (1st NBA), +8.2 Average Point Differential (1st NBA) Not only have these three players been forces on both ends of the court, but they have directly influenced a culture of winning for their respective teams that should be rewarded with All-Star selections.
