I updated to Lightroom 5 a week ago...what do I think of it? Well give me another two days and I might be able to tell you! When I updated I decided to create the new smart previews for all of my images. Means that now you can work, keyword, even edit, etc with all your images offline (ie. back on servers at home), which I have to say will be a major advantage to me when away. However, creating smart previews for 523,535 images in my catalog has taken a week so far, and it has just ticked over 400,000...only 123,535 to go! Phew! Glad I got that 2TB LaCie Thunderbolt drive to house it all!
