I urge everyone who cares about equality and bullying attempts to write a letter (not email) or call the Minnesota Star Tribune and complain about this. Call, write letters and if you can fax them letters. Even though we are in the technological age letters are still more effective when one can see the physical paper in front of them. This is unacceptable. While many of us may not understand what it is to be trans nor how they feel. I do know hatred is wrong, negativity and demonizaiton is wrong, fear mongering is wrong, marginalization of a small group to advance your agenda is wrong. This reminds me of the anti-ERA folks in the 70s saying everyone would have to share one restroom if it was ratified. I have several friends who are transgendered and they are some of the greatest humans youll ever meet.
