I urge you to become just one woman writing. Dont worry about the formality of writing, just write whats on your heart. Write to get acquainted with yourself, to come to know yourself better. Write to see what youre thinking about and whats up with you. Strip away all the rules and free yourself to write! Dont worry about anything but the words that stream from your heart. If they never see the light of day, youll be a better woman just because you wrote them. If youre ill or depressed or hurting or in the midst of change, reach for writing as a prescription, first. Its a healing balm for the spirit and the soul. Writing helps you travel down many miles inside yourself where all the treasure is hiding. The storehouse of wisdom you need is tucked inside you, waiting to be excavated by pen and pad. If you honor your urge to write, it will reward you. It will open you up to the depth of yourself as a woman. It will take you wide and deep within. Writing will undress the heavy armour, remove the fake mask and take away ALL that is not your true essence. You can be seen, loved, viewed and accepted for who you truly are and not who you think you need to be. Writing makes you transparent. It makes you WANT to be transparent. And if you dare to get naked on the page, people will read your words and be blessed by them for you had the courage to speak on their behalf, to transcribe their own heart and let them read it on the page. You will liberate them as well as yourself and help them to know one of lifes greatest truths...We ARE NOT ALONE. Go ahead...just be one woman writing...begin and see where that road takes you. You wont be disappointed...youll be sorry you waited so long!
