I use my page to uplift others, show things that touch me that I think will touch somebody else, or to express how I feel. Apparently I need to set the record straight on a couple of things, not that I owe ANYBODY ANY explanations about anything. First, I didnt get fired from my job. I RESIGNED. Ergo the Separation of Service document I completed and signed. Not only did I resign, but I did so with an exemplary record. Second, over a month ago, I went to church at a time when I felt I needed a good word. There was a guest preacher. In in the end, I got a word, but the delivery SUCKED! I was bored out my mind. I posted about it and I said exactly how I felt. NUMEROUS people commented on my post, many of whom felt the same way I did. After all the back and forth kidding around, I got a phone call that night from someone who, off the record, asked me to take my post down. I did, out of respect for that individual who ALSO made some comments, along with ministers and employees of the church. I didnt go to church that Tuesday, but I was informed that the congregation was instructed to stay off of Facebook. Tonight the congregation was asked if they saw all the posts on FB about the event this morning. How, if instructed to stay off of social media? Typically, I wouldnt even care, but I have messages being sent to me to, cautioning me of what I post. Lets get it right... GROWN AS HELL RIGHT HERE. I post what I want on MY PAGE, thats why MY name is on this page. You dont like it or you dont agree with it, STAY OFF MY PAGE! I once heard not to worry when people talk about you. Its when they stop talking about you that you need to start worrying. Im glad to see that Im the subject of conversation, but damn.... if youre gonna talk about me, can you at least get your facts right? And I wish somebody would call me to tell me to take my post down. Im saved, but there are some things I have not been delivered from yet. God bless you!
