I use to read three different magazines about surfing. I know all the lingo. I know the top surfers by name and I know all the maneuvers. I use to daydream about all those places and wonder what it would be like to just ride the beautiful, blue curling waves. Waves that started their trek across the ocean by storms in distant places. Waves that ended their life on beaches not of their origin. I get to fulfill those daydreams tomorrow on a surfing tour. Two locals and myself on a pilgrimage to hopefully some epic surf. Will I be any good at it? Perhaps. But probably not. Its a difficult sport. But Ill have the experience to draw on when I see a wave break on a beach in the future. God is good and He knows even the simple dreams of His children. So dream on my friends. Dream on. Find your wave and ride it. You wont regret it.
