I used To go into Western Auto and dream........ I loved to look at the new Stereo equipment as a kid 9 -11 years old. I promised myself I would have one of the better Models One of these days!! I told myself, SELF we are gonna save up my money from pop Bottles, raking/mowing yards, picking up walnuts , help hauling hay , cleaning the slag out of coal furnaces in basements up and down 4th avenue ,sweeping the floor at the Pizza place on the square for a dollar but not let mama know cause she said they were hippies {supposedly owned by Charlie Daniels},pull weeds from side walks, trim hedges, help daddy paint house during the summer, all for the Biggest Kick butt TRUETONE STEREO but alas about 5th grade there were these things I started noticing in School I never really noticed before...........GIRLS!!!!!!!.......Hmmm lets share a pizza at that hippie place and meet at the Franklin Theater to see The Good The bad and the Ugly! Same as my dating life....but back to my Christmas story..... it took Me only about 3 years and I never did buy that stereo......... after my father passed in January,My mother bought it For me for my Birthday at age 13! I then took a summer job at the City of Franklin during the summer and had lots of money......Guess where the money went.......CowBetterToHaveLovedAndLostBell! WHAT?I cant hear you the stereo is on.....
