I used bad language in my Facebook status the other night which - TopicsExpress

I used bad language in my Facebook status the other night which would have appeared in the newsfeed of Facebook friends. Very early the next morning I deleted it. A number of friends were concerned that I was upset and contacted me about it. I apologized and advised that I got fed up with the lies. I informed one friend that it was wrong of me to swear on Facebook. I know it was wrong of me to express my anger by using bad language on Facebook and I apologize to all my Facebook friends for doing so. I have since learned that my post has been reproduced by Tiffany Twivey in the form of a quote plus a sneaky screenshot and a number of people have commented about me as a result. One of them is apparently quite well known (who uses the name Jeff Magi-Man Genia on Facebook & who I don’t know) said “This sbr – what an UGLY character, disgusting little guttersnipe imo”. One lawyer said “Oh my she is really loosing (sic) it.” “Tis now nearing 2014 and this woman SBR has been schooled enough on what Defamation is; ah well, you definitely cannot continue teaching a Stupid who is already an Idiot.” Another one said “Plain old “nasty” she is.” Others said: “She needs to brought down to her knees”, “TTW, she is going to (sic) low, such retards wont (sic) beat u (sic) in any form at all, all she has are those nasty words. It just resembles who she is. Lol.”, Madam ‘breaking news’ should study why the Nazis (sic) were defeated.”, “That’s nasty and such people I have no respect for.”, etc. I am not going to let the name calling bother me. What concerns me is that although my post did not identify the person who upset me and the reason why I was provoked to express my anger, it seems that certain people have concluded that my post was aimed at Tiffany Twivey. This is not correct. My post was not aimed at Tiffany Twivey and nor was it aimed at Susan Merrell. I recently blocked both these women because of their lies and I really don’t want to discuss them. However, I will advise that in fact I recently wrote an article on behalf of PNG NEWS rebutting Susan Merrell’s recent derogatory article entitled ‘Abuse of Social Media’ which she wrote about Bryan Kramer and in which she very wrongly commented about PNG NEWS. Anyway, I really did not want to go ahead and publish my rebuttal on PNG NEWS because I simply did not want to give these two women any more free publicity. I really don’t want to discuss them. Full stop. It seems I can’t say anything anymore on Facebook without somebody twisting it or wrongly interpreting what I said and the reason why I said it. What I have learned for sure is that too many people take things too personally on Facebook and it seems a number of prominent people who I respected have unfriended me. Perhaps a few of them simply got tired of seeing my posts in their newsfeed. One very prominent friend, who I often spoke with, when I questioned him recently as to why he unfriended me informed me that he must have hit the wrong button. No problem. Nobody has to like me but if anybody is going to spend their time and energy disliking me then they should at least have some self-respect and refrain from telling lies and if they make any wrong comments then they should feel free to edit or retract or delete and or apologize if they wish to without being victimized and threatened.
