I used full manual settings out here today, most of my shutters hovered around f/14 1/4second. Everything is in focus which is what the mid-high f stop is for. And the exposure Im really just looking at cloud detail, the histogram isnt going to be very indicative of the correct exposure die to a lot of darks in the foreground specifically the rocks. Had I was using a grad filter the histogram wouldve been more true but I think with a lot of water and reflection and the sun not fully having broken the true sunrise time barrier the grad filter would look unnatural. I try to shoot close to what youre eye sees with the intent of pushing what I can do in lightroom just a bit farther to make a pleasing image. Have a great Saturday everyone!
