I used to always quip, It is going to take a special woman to love me to the same degree that I was committed to loving a woman...my mirror. I didnt think such a person existed in reality as I have scanned and searched the entire globe for you...I have been to all 50 states, lived in 12 different states and 20 different cities and just about as many countries over the span of my life. I have met thousands and thousands of people...all very amazing and lovely people...some were soul mates...some broke my heart and others abandoned ship...sometimes love was a circus and other times a ghost town -- Hmmmmm...funny how the mystery of life and journey unfolds so perfectly....even though we dont see it when we are going through it and FEELING and grrrrrrrring painfully through it all! Wow...those who know me best know I am tough to keep up with (A little bit those Columbo traits emerge)- multi-dimentional and a bit complex, yes I know, but not in some ways, fiercely passionate about my mission, purpose to be a change agent that brings redemption and healing to fractured relationships in a disconnected world. Yes, the other part goofy and playful-- and really relationally and emotionally focused. Both Alpha and Beta blended--your hybrid variety type. I invested and spent my entire life researching, studying trauma, spirituality, emotions, neuroscience and couple relationship and dynamics, teaching, writing, etc. So, finding a life, love partner that could integrate and join me in all that seemed like a far fetched wish merger. Anyway, I believe God knows the desires of our heart and he answered my heart cry in a woman that is truly my mirror, twin flame, soul mate and who is spiritually and emotionally integrated, self-possessed with fierce grace, compassion, unconditional love and equally passionate with shared context, skills, language, and purpose in relationship...we both take charge of our love as faithful and loyal guardians of this sacred trust. She never wasted her pain but used her pain to grow and to touch other peoples lives. We fell in love with both our light (ideals) and our shadows (imperfections wounds, shame, and darkness). We share the same heart to bring light (love & clarity) to the shadows (fear & confusion) & heal the broken-hearted to set the world free. She found purpose in and through her pain and suffering (the broken road)...overcame her fears and learned to be vulnerable and courageous enough to love this guy with all my imperfections. We discovered a mutual heart secret and purpose --- that our broken birds are really the most amazing of all the broken birds...the Phoenix Rising---from the ashes...to bring new life, new beginnings, redemption, healing, and ascension to our higher purpose...from nothing - everything. We discovered something in this clearing from the constraints of our past, this tabular rasa -- blank slate and pure white canvas - our creative, inspired genius and the genesis of love through redemption--we could paint our masterpiece! How awesome is that? It takes a special, noble and spiritual woman sometimes to love...just love. I realize I am describing her interior world and deep oceans which is equally as lovely, beautiful and captivating as her external world. Thank you, Victoria Grieco-Gattuso for showing up fully in your power, love and authentic connection...WOW! You are my muse and all of me loves all of you!
