I used to be a fan of Coach Shanahan of the Washington Redskins, especially when he was with the Denver Broncos. But last year, when he allowed RG3 to keep playing after that vicious hit in the Seattle playoff game loss, and you could tell RG3s knee was hurt badly, my opinion of him went down. Fast-forward to this year. RG3 still needs to let his knee to continue to heal. We have a couple of capable backup quarterbacks, and we couldnt be much worse, record-wise, in the weak NFC East. (Though Dallas is looking stronger.) Id rather have a benched and healing completely RG3, for a long time, and play a capable backup in Cousins who may giving us a better chance to win because he is totally healthy. I love my Redskins, more than any coach, even the Old Ball Coach . . . except maybe, Joe Gibbs. ;)
