I used to be very proud of the tolerance and progressiveness of my country, its art, its music, its humour, its world changing inventions and its coming together with the alied forces against facism some 75 years ago. Now all I see is an accepted, indeed welcomed, rise of the ugliness we fought against. Britain First, UKIP, etc etc etc. Goebbels knew how to manipulate the media to turn people against other people, just because they were different, how to suppress creativity and control/destroy the arts. How do the other political parties in the UK deal with this unwelcome rise of the far right? They lurch to the right themselves, so as to give credibility to Farrage and his cronies. Fight facism with facism.
