I used to believe peace between Israel and her neighbors depended upon establishing a Palestinian state next door. No longer. I am persuaded otherwise by Caroline Glick and close study inspired by her book, The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East. Our enemies are the radical Islamists among the Arabs. They will never agree to letting Israel live in peace. Rather, peace depends on Israels strength and that in turn requires extending Israeli law to Judea and Samaria; Gaza would remain as it is, though ideally under Fatah control rather than Hamas. The reasons this is the only workable solution are too complex for explanation in this medium.
